CHAINED explores the narrative of the common artist tethered to a corporate world and struggling to fulfill a creative, more rebellious side. I used elements of classic business wear paired with feminine and utilitarian touches to portray this. I further illustrated the motif of “breaking free from the chains” by having my models tear a blazer away, cut a tie off, and drop a briefcase on the runway. Designed and constructed in just 3 weeks, I worked with 4 models, photographers, and hair/make up artists to bring my vision to life.
